Our Response to COVID-19 Outbreaks
The safety and well-being of our employees and clients is our #1 priority.
Gold Key has taken a number of steps to minimize the potential for COVID-19 transmission.
Health & Safety Administrators have been designated at each of our facilities. They are responsible for reporting and guidance to ensure the best standard of cleanliness and employee health procedures.
These administrators ensure frequent sanitization throughout the day of high-risk surfaces such as door knobs, handles, faucets, horizontal surfaces and more, using hospital grade cleaning solvents. They are also responsible for informing managers if employees have any symptoms and should consider staying home.
All of our staff are committed to increased hand washing, minimizing direct contact and social distancing.
Upgraded Service Maintenance Guidelines include technician’s and lot staff using gloves when operating customer’s vehicles. Customer vehicles brought in for service are getting additional sanitization, including, but not limited to wiping down steering wheels, shift knobs/shift levers, door handles, and other common touch points with bleach solution. These same extra measures are done before vehicles are returned to customers.
Upgraded Courtesy Car, Showroom and Test Drive Vehicle Cleaning Guidelines have been implemented similar to the above new Service Maintenance Guidelines, and include disinfecting hard surfaces and vehicle vacuuming between each use by a customer.
Lastly, these additional steps we are putting in place are in addition to our Pandemic Preparedness Plan which we are putting into action.
Thank you for your trust and confidence in Gold Key Langley Volkswagen.
